TREATMENT ROOM PREFERENCE ACCOMMODATION

Our clinic has been designed mindfully in an effort to create a comfortable environment and to accommodate the needs of a variety of patients. Depending on the nature of your health concern, the treatment that Kristen has prescribed for you, and/or the day/time of your appointment, you may be placed either on a massage table or in a recliner chair for your treatment.

In many cases, medical necessity dictates the selection of treatment rooms. For example, a patient who is in the third trimester of pregnancy, is suffering from unmanaged congestive heart failure, is recovering from abdominal surgery, or is paraplegic cannot be treated laying supine on a massage table and a patient in the midst of severe migraine headache cannot be treated in a room with windows and bright natural light. If you do not have a condition that dictates that you be treated in a specific room, you may be assigned to a room based on the needs of the patients scheduled before or after you.

We understand that some patients have a preference for a certain room, table, or chair — if you have such a preference, please feel free to let our office staff know and we will do our very best to accommodate your preference whenever possible. Please understand, however, that we cannot reserve specific rooms for any reason other than medical necessity.
