NEW PAYMENT POLICY
Change effective June 1, 2022
Effective June 1, 2022, we will be adding a 5% surcharge to services paid for using a credit, debit, or HSA cards. Fees for services paid for using personal check or cash will remain unchanged.
We understand that everyone is affected by inflation and we’ve worked hard to keep our fees as affordable as possible. The last time we raised our fees for acupuncture and other services was actually in 2014. Over the course of the past eight years, however, expenses associated with running our business have risen dramatically — some of our costs have risen by 30-40% during this time! The reality is that we just cannot continue to absorb these rising overhead costs while at the same time providing the quality of care to which we are committed.
We have created this policy in an effort to give patients a means to avoid an increase in the cost of their treatment (by choosing to pay with check or cash), while at the same time continuing to offer the convenience of the option of paying by credit card. We will continue to require a valid credit card on file for all patients in to schedule appointments and the credit card surcharge will be applied to any late cancellation or no show fees owed in accordance with our policies.
